“We cannot sing Allie’s praises enough. I spoke to a couple people/businesses while looking for a day-of coordinator and no one stood out as much as Allie. We had an initial phone call where she not only gave me the information I needed, but was curious and interested in our life and wedding, asked all the right questions, and honestly even started working through the flow of our day (on our very first call!). She gained my trust day one and we really just grew to be more and more impressed with her. She was extremely attentive in the month and a half leading up to our wedding day. She replied quickly via both email and text and was consistently in touch about what we’d speak about each week and things she needed clarification on. She scheduled weekly meetings with us for the month leading up to the wedding, had an agenda for each meeting, came to our walkthrough at our venue, and provided several insightful recommendations on flow, seating, and where to set certain things up — all with an incredible level of thoughtfulness and without being overbearing. She worked really hard to understand our vision and what was most important to us and it resulted honestly in a flawless wedding day. She showed up early on our wedding day, set up our ceremony and reception spaces beautifully, was prepared with laminated day-of timelines for everyone, and made sure everyone was in the right place at the right time. She kept track of all of our personal decor and important things like our license. She handled all of the cues for our processional — coordinating a wedding party of 12 bridesmaids/groomsmen, 3 flower girls, 2 ring bearers, and 2 dogs! Our entire experience with Kindly Kay, Allie, and her colleague Melissa was easily a 10/10. They were professional and driven, but also clearly cared about us and how we envisioned our day. They were detail-oriented and executed things confidently and without having to ask us too many questions, but were also flexible, cool/collected, and solved problems quickly. The things that “went wrong” I wasn’t even aware of until after the fact because Allie sorted them out immediately. We were both able to be present and thoroughly enjoy our wedding because of her! I cannot wait to see where Allie takes her business and career — she’s truly amazing and we cannot recommend her enough!”
“Kindly Kay was amazing in taking on the full responsibility of setting up my proposal and engagement party. Allie began coordinating this event in July 2022 by helping me choose the perfect combination of cut, color, clarity, and carat by accompanying me to about 6 different jewelry stores. Once we decided on a ring, we put together an invitation list as family/friends would be travelling from across the country. She coordinated travel plans for all travelers and handled catering, bartending, venue décor, and the event run of show. On the day of the event, Allie was the 1st person at the venue and the last to leave. We have already decided to hire Kindly Kay Events and Allie again for full services for our wedding planning and event coordination. “Allie was my hero haha! My day of coordinator was going to be a friend I had that did weddings in another state and she fell through 16 days before my wedding. I called Allie and she picked up right away and ended up being available for our Buena Vista, CO wedding AND she had an assistant Melissa that came with her as well! I had two calls with her prior to our wedding day, which were super helpful. She didn't rush through the calls and asked great questions! I felt so much more at ease having Allie on my wedding day and she had such a calm demeanor the entire day. I just did a simple white drape on the ceremony arch and told them just to staple gun it however they thought looked best and it ended up looking incredible! They ended up putting my wedding favors (chocolate boxes) on the tables in front of the plates and that looked great as well! (as the location it was initially in they weren't very noticeable) She worked well with all our other vendors and communicated great with them. Our venue didn't have a staff for set-up or tear down and Allie and Melissa were such a great help! She mentioned in her past experience that she assisted another wedding coordinator before going off on her own & I'm so glad she did end up starting her own business. She truly knows what she's doing and hiring her would be one of the best decision for your wedding day!.”
